BRIT Awards 2012 Nominations Announced

The nominations for this year's BRIT Awards were announced yesterday at The Savoy Hotel in central London. Ed Sheeran and Emeli Sandé, who both feature heavily in this year's nominations, performed live at the launch party.

Leading the way in this year's nominations count is Ed Sheeran, who finds himself nominated in 4 categories. Jessie J, last year's recipient of the Critics' Choice Award, and Adele are both nominated in 3 categories.

The ceremony for this year's BRIT Awards will take place at the O2 Arena in London on Tuesday 21st February. Adele, Rihanna, Coldplay, Noel Gallagher and Ed Sheeran are among those artists expected to perform live on the night.
