Red Hot Chili Peppers have today announced two open-air shows to take place in the UK during the summer of 2012. The massive summer gigs will be staged at Knebworth Park in Hertfordshire on 23rd June and at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on 24th June.
Last week, the Red Hot Chili Peppers also announced another open-air concert, to take place at Croke Park in Dublin on 26th June.
The series of three open-air shows are expected to be the band's only concerts in the UK and Ireland during 2012:
Red Hot Chili Peppers also begin a UK arena tour later this month, in support of their latest chart-topping album, I'm With You.
Tickets for all three summer gigs will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 4th November.
