Knebworth Park

Knebworth Park in Hertfordshire has been host to some of the UK's most memorable outdoors concerts and festivals. The first rock concerts took place at Knebworth Park in the mid seventies, when acts like Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin performed to huge crowds.

In 1996, Britpop super-group Oasis performed to 250,000 fans during two consecutive nights at Knebworth. In 2003, Knebworth staged the biggest music event in British history, when Robbie Williams performed to 375,000 fans during three consecutive summer nights.

More recently, Knebworth has hosted the British edition of the Sonisphere Festival, featuring hard rock acts such as Metallica and Iron Maiden.
