Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff

Cardiff Motorpoint Arena, formerly known as the Cardiff International Arena or CIA, has been welcoming the world's biggest acts from far and wide since it first opened in 1993. With a capacity of 7,500 the venue is quite compact, but it remains a popular fixture with artists and fans alike. As well as being a successful music concert venue, Cardiff Motorpoint Arena has also played host to comedy acts, ice skating exhibitions, wrestling bouts and business events.

In March 2011 Derby-based car supermarket Motorpoint bought the naming rights for the Cardiff International Arena. As a result, the venue will be known as the Motorpoint Arena for the next five years.
