Following the success of her recently released third studio album, Teenage Dream, which went straight to number one in album charts around the world, Katy Perry has announced plans for her biggest world tour to date. The California Dreams world tour will get underway in February next year and will arrive in the UK for several dates in March and April.
UK fans will be able to see Katy Perry perform two shows at the Hammersmith Apollo, followed by two shows at the Manchester Apollo in March next year. Katy will then visit several arenas around the UK and Ireland, before closing with a show at the Glasgow SECC in early April.
Update 19th October 2010: Due to huge demand for tickets, Katy Perry has announced two extra shows. Katy will perform the new shows at the Liverpool Echo Arena on 27th March and Wembley Arena on 9th April.
Update 6th December 2010: Katy Perry has announced a second leg to her California Dreams tour, which includes 12 new UK arena shows planned for the autumn of 2011.
Update 11th January 2011: Katy Perry will be supported by French electro-pop band, Yelle, on her spring UK tour.
