James Blunt, the former British Army officer turned singer-songwriter, has announced plans for a UK tour in early 2011. The tour will be in support of his new album - Some Kind of Trouble - which is due to be released in November. James Blunt's 2011 UK tour will visit 12 venues around the country, starting at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow on the 17th February, and concluding at Portsmouth Guildhall on the 4th March.

During his set he gave a passionate thank you to all the UK armed forces personnel who are currently in active service around the world. James Blunt is due to fly out to Afghanistan this Christmas, where he will perform to British troops, alongside fellow singer Katherine Jenkins.
