Van Halen Recording New Album and Plans Tour

Dave Lee Roth has joined forces with Van Halen once more, the first time since recording the album 1984 in 1983, to record a new studio album. Hot on the heels of a successful 2008 tour, the new album will appeal to fans old and new alike.

The album, as yet untitled, is due for release in 2011 and will most probably be the basis of a new Van Halen tour in the same year. Van Halen's manager has been in talks with the promotions manager of Live Nation, the world's largest entertainment company and, from what we gather, this is the start of a major announcement of an upcoming world tour for 2011.
