Vampire Weekend Announce UK Tour

Vampire Weekend, the New York based indie rockers, have announced details of a new UK tour, which will feature the band's biggest UK shows to date. The six date tour starts at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool on the 25th November and ends at Alexandra Palace in London on the 2nd December.

Vampire Weekend topped the US album chart when they released their second album - Contra - earlier this year. The album went to number 3 in the UK chart.

Update 4th August 2010: After selling out their Alexandra Palace show, Vampire Weekend have announced a second date at the venue, on the 3rd December.
