Robbie Williams has announced plans for a huge European stadium tour to take place during the summer of 2013. The tour will include a handful of UK gigs at stadiums in Manchester, Glasgow and London.
Robbie's Take The Crown 2013 stadium tour will begin with two huge gigs at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on 19th and 21st June. Robbie will play further UK shows in Glasgow (25th) and London (29th and 30th), before heading to mainland Europe where he will perform 12 stadium shows.
Take The Crown is Robbie's ninth solo studio album. The album reached No.1 in the UK chart following its release earlier this month. The album's lead single, Candy, also reached No.1 in the UK singles chart.
Robbie Williams commented: "I've got such a buzz out of playing live again this year. The shows we have done have reminded me how special it is to play my songs in front of a huge audience, with all the excitement and adrenaline that it can bring. Bring on 2013!"
Robbie Williams will perform the following UK dates during his 2013 European stadium tour:
Throughout the tour, Robbie Williams will be supported by Olly Murs.
Olly Murs commented: "Everyone knows I am a huge fan of Robbie, and I'm honoured to call him my friend. He's been a huge inspiration to me and given me so much advice throughout my career so far. When he asked me to join him on tour I was over the moon!"
Tickets for Robbie Williams' UK stadium shows will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 30th November. A pre-sale will also take place at Robbie's official website from 9am on Thursday 29th November.
