Elbow Announce UK Arena Tour

Elbow will be touring the UK's biggest arenas this winter. The award-winning alternative rock band will perform a handful of arena gigs in late November and early December, including shows in Nottingham, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and London.

The band will also release a B-sides compilation album, titled Dead In The Boot, in August. Speaking about the album, Guy Garvey said: "None of our B-sides are album rejects. It's a different space, usually just post finishing an album when all the members of elbow are chiming and feeling very creative. This gives Dead In The Boot a real late night vibe."

Elbow will perform the following gigs during the UK arena tour:

• Nottingham Arena - 26th November 2012
• Birmingham NIA - 28th November 2012
• Liverpool Echo Arena - 29th November 2012
• Manchester Arena - 1st December 2012
• London O2 Arena - 2nd December 2012

Although the tour is being labelled a 'UK arena tour', fans in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will be disappointed to see that no shows are planned in their respective countries.

Tickets for Elbow's UK arena tour will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 27th July. A special pre-sale will also begin at 9am on Tuesday 24th July. A link for the pre-sale will be sent to fans who have signed up to the official Elbow mailing list.
