Rush Announce 2013 UK Arena Tour

Canadian rock band Rush has announced a 5-date UK arena tour for May 2013, which includes a massive show at the O2 Arena in London. The legendary trio announced the UK dates as part of their Clockwork Angels world tour.

Clockwork Angels is the band's 20th studio album and is due to be released in the UK on 11th June. The album contains the band's first new collection of original material in over five years.

Rush will perform gigs at the following UK arenas during May 2013:

• Manchester Arena - 22nd May 2013
• London O2 Arena - 24th May 2013
• Birmingham LG Arena - 26th May 2013
• Sheffield Motorpoint Arena - 28th May 2013
• Glasgow SECC - 30th May 2013

The band's last visit to the UK was in 2011 as part of the Time Machine Tour. The tour gained widespread critical acclaim and it is likely that the 2013 tour will be equally well received.

Tickets for Rush's UK arena shows will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 18th May.
