Pop-punksters Blink 182 are due to arrive in the UK this summer for a series of highly anticipated arena dates. Today the band confirmed the support acts for their UK tour, plus they announced an extra show in Bournemouth.
Blink 182 angered many British fans last year when they postponed their UK tour. The tour was originally scheduled to take place in July 2011, but the band wanted more time to complete their new album so that they would have new material to play on tour. Blink 182 have now completed their long awaited sixth studio album. Neighborhoods was released in September 2011, reaching No. 2 in the US chart and No. 6 in the UK chart. Some critics have called it the band's best album to date.
With attention once again turning to their UK tour, the band have today confirmed the support acts. All-American Rejects will be the main support act, performing all dates on the tour. Four Year Strong, Twin Atlantic and The Blackout will then share the extra support slots on the tour as detailed below:
Tickets for the extra show in Bournemouth will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 27th January.
