Adele Cancels All Remaining 2011 Tour Dates

28th October 2011

Due to ongoing problems with her throat, Adele has been forced to cancel all remaining live performances in 2011. The news will come as a huge disappointment to fans who were hoping to see Adele perform her remaining UK tour dates next month.

In early September Adele was forced to cancel the first six dates on her UK tour due to a throat infection. Those dates were subsequently rescheduled to take place in November, but it now seems the concerts have been cancelled entirely. Cancelled UK tour dates are as follows:

  • Wolverhampton Civic Hall - 7th November (previously rescheduled from 10th Sep)
  • Wolverhampton Civic Hall - 8th November (previously rescheduled from 11th Sep)
  • Blackpool Empress Ballroom - 10th November (previously rescheduled from 8th Sep)
  • Bournemouth International Centre - 12th November (previously rescheduled from 5th Sep)
  • Cardiff Motorpoint Arena - 14th November (previously rescheduled from 7th Sep)
  • Plymouth Pavilions - 15th November (previously rescheduled from 4th Sep)

A message posted on Adele's website explains that ticket holders for all cancelled live dates will receive a refund from the point of purchase.

Adele, meanwhile, is expected to undergo surgery to alleviate the issues with her throat. We wish her a speedy recovery and hope to see her performing live again in 2012.
