Operatic pop quartet Il Divo have announced details of a massive new world tour, which is expected to hit six continents during 2012. In making the announcement Il Divo confirmed a series of concert dates for the UK and Ireland to take place next April.
The tour is expected to feature tracks from the group's forthcoming album, Wicked Game, which is due to be released at the end of November. The tour will also feature the hits from the group's previous five albums.
Il Divo will begin the UK leg of their world tour with a show at the Glasgow SECC on Sunday 1st April. The tour will then continue across the UK and Ireland, with shows planned at the following venues: Newcastle Arena (2nd Apr), Belfast Odyssey Arena (4th Apr), Dublin O2 (5th Apr), Sheffield Motorpoint Arena (7th Apr), Liverpool Echo Arena (8th Apr), Bournemouth BIC (10th Apr), Brighton Centre (11th Apr), Manchester MEN Arena (13th Apr), Birmingham LG Arena (14th Apr) and Cardiff Motorpoint Arena (15th Apr). The UK leg of the tour will be brought to an end with two spectacular shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 17th and 18th April.
Tickets to see Il Divo on their 2012 UK and Ireland tour will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 14th October.
