James Morrison Announces UK & Ireland 2012 Tour

James Morrison, the BRIT Award winning singer-songwriter, has announced plans for a full tour of the UK and Ireland to take place in early 2012. The announcement comes a day after his latest album, The Awakening, reached number one in the UK chart.

James Morrison will begin his 2012 tour with two gigs in Ireland, performing at Ulster Hall in Belfast on 28th January and Olympia Theatre in Dublin on 29th January.

James will then travel across to Britain to perform shows at the following venues: Manchester Apollo (1st Feb), Cambridge Corn Exchange (3rd Feb), Southampton Guildhall (4th Feb), Leicester De Montfort Hall (6th Feb), Birmingham O2 Academy (7th Feb), Hammersmith Apollo (9th Feb), Southend Cliffs Pavilion (12th Feb), Bristol Colston Hall (13th Feb), Glasgow O2 Academy (15th Feb), Leeds O2 Academy (17th Feb), Nottingham Royal Centre (18th Feb) and Newcastle O2 Academy (19th Feb).

The Awakening is James Morrison's third studio album and becomes his second UK number one.

Tickets to see James Morrison on his 2012 tour will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 7th October.
