Katherine Jenkins, the award-winning classical crossover artist, has announced plans for a UK-wide tour during January and February of 2012. The tour will be in support of Katherine's eighth studio album, Daydream, which is due out later this autumn.
Speaking about her forthcoming tour, Katherine said: “I had an amazing time on my first arena tour but Daydream is a very intimate album and I wanted my tour to reflect that. It's a chance for my fans to see me up close and personal in some of the UK's most beautiful theatres.”
Katherine's Daydream UK tour will get underway with a performance at the New Theatre in Oxford on the 7th January. Katherine will then visit the following venues as the tour continues around the UK: Portsmouth Guildhall (8th Jan), Southend Cliffs Pavilion (10th Jan), Ipswich Regent Theatre (12th-13th Jan), Newcastle City Hall (16th Jan), Glasgow Clyde Auditorium (18th Jan), Edinburgh Playhouse (19th Jan), Harrogate International Centre (21st Jan), Sheffield City Hall (22nd Jan), Llandudno Venue Cymru (24th Jan), Liverpool Philharmonic Hall (25th Jan), Cardiff Motorpoint Arena (27th Jan), Birmingham Symphony Hall (29th-30th Jan), Manchester Bridgewater Hall (1st-2nd Feb), Blackpool Opera House (4th Feb), Bristol Colston Hall (6th Feb), Plymouth Pavilions (7th Feb), Bournemouth BIC (9th Feb), Nottingham Royal Centre (12th-13th Feb) and Hammersmith Apollo (16th Feb).
Tickets to see Katherine Jenkins on her Daydream tour go on general sale at 9:30am on Friday 2nd September.
