Hot on the heels of releasing their fourth studio album, Suck It and See, Sheffield's finest indie-rockers the Arctic Monkeys have announced a UK arena tour to take place in the autumn. The band has announced a total of nine arena dates around the UK during October and November.
Arctic Monkeys will begin their autumn arena tour with a date at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham on the 28th October. The band will then continue around the country, stopping at: London O2 Arena (29th Oct), Cardiff Motorpoint Arena (1st Nov), Manchester MEN Arena (2nd Nov), Birmingham LG Arena (4th Nov), Newcastle Arena (5th Nov), Aberdeen AECC (6th Nov), Glasgow SECC (8th Nov) and Liverpool Echo Arena (9th Nov).
Arctic Monkeys released their fourth studio album, Suck It and See, on Monday and it is currently sitting on top of the midweek album chart, so looks set to become the band's fourth straight UK number one record.
In addition to the autumn tour, the band also have several festival appearances confirmed this summer, plus two huge homecoming gigs at Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium this coming weekend.
Tickets to see the Arctic Monkeys on their autumn tour will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 17th June.
UPDATE Arctic Monkeys have added a second date at the O2 Arena in London, after tickets to the first date sold out within minutes. The extra show at the O2 Arena will take place on the 30th October.
