The Australian Pink Floyd Show, widely regarded as the best Pink Floyd tribute act in the world, has announced details of a huge new UK tour planned for 2012. The band's Exposed In The Light UK tour will visit a total of 28 venues around the country during February, March and April.
Last year's show featured cutting-edge 3D stereographic technology, which was a world first for a live music production. The exact format of the 2012 show has yet to be revealed, but it is claimed to be on a different level and must be seen to be believed.
The Australian Pink Floyd Show will kick off its UK tour at Edinburgh Playhouse on 26th February. This will be followed by further shows at: Glasgow Clyde Auditorium (27th Feb), Newcastle City Hall (28th Feb), Sheffield City Hall (1st Mar), Liverpool Echo Arena (2nd Mar), Manchester Apollo (4th Mar), Llandudno Venue Cymru (5th Mar), Preston Guild Hall (7th Mar), Halifax Victoria Theatre (8th Mar), Harrogate International Centre (9th Mar), Nottingham Royal Centre (11th Mar), Stoke Victoria Hall (12th Mar), Southampton Guildhall (13th Mar), Bournemouth BIC (15th Mar), Derby Assembly Rooms (16th Mar), Northampton Royal and Derngate (18th Mar), Bristol Colston Hall (19th Mar), Brighton Centre (20th Mar), Birmingham NIA (21st Mar), Watford Colosseum (23rd Mar), Hammersmith Apollo (24th Mar), Cardiff Motorpoint Arena (26th Mar), Plymouth Pavilions (27th Mar), Guildford G Live (28th Mar), Southend Cliffs Pavilion (30th Mar), Ipswich Regent Theatre (31st Mar), Cambridge Corn Exchange (1st Apr) and Basingstoke Anvil (3rd-4th Apr).
The Australian Pink Floyd Show was booked to perform at David Gilmour's 50th birthday bash, which goes to show just how good it is. Former Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason also once described the Australian Pink Floyd Show as being "Very good, probably better than we are".
Tickets to see The Australian Pink Floyd Show on their UK tour go on sale at 9am on Friday 10th June.
