The Monkees 45th Anniversary UK Tour

The Monkees, the original 'manufactured' boy band, has announced that three of its members will reunite and undertake a UK-wide tour in May. Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork will come together to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the band's formation with a tour of some of the UK's best known venues.

The Monkees reunion tour will get underway at Liverpool Echo Arena on the 12th May and will then visit Manchester Apollo (14th), Newcastle City Hall (15th), Glasgow Clyde Auditorium (16th), Royal Albert Hall (19th), Sheffield City Hall (20th), Birmingham NIA (21st), Plymouth Pavilions (23rd), Cardiff CIA (24th) and finishes at Nottingham Royal Centre on the 25th May.

Tickets to The Monkees 45th Anniversary UK Tour go on general sale at 9am on Friday 25th February 2011.
