With its roots firmly in grunge, Pearl Jam's debut album, Ten, broke out into the more mainstream alternative rock scene. With more than 60 million records sold worldwide, Pearl Jam continue to wow audiences with their originality.

Pearl Jam's tenth studio album, Lightning Bolt, was released in October 2013. The album reached No.1 in the US Billboard chart and No.2 in the UK chart.

Pearl Jam performed two UK gigs during the summer of 2014 – at the First Direct Arena in Leeds and Milton Keynes Bowl – as part of the band's European tour.
