Thin Lizzy

Irish rock legends Thin Lizzy formed in 1969 in Dublin. They are best known for their hits Whiskey in the Jar, The Boys Are Back In Town and Jailbreak. Their name comes from a robot in The Dandy comic, Tin Lizzie, and was also the nickname of the Model T car. They decided to add the 'h' as, with an Irish accent, it would still be pronounced Tin Lizzy!

Thin Lizzy will support Guns N' Roses during the American band's UK tour in May and June 2012.
