Born James Anthony Patrick, Jimmy Carr began his comedy career in 2000 after leaving his marketing job with Shell. As well as being one of the top UK stand-up acts of our time, Jimmy Carr is also the host of Distraction and 8 Out Of 10 Cats. Jimmy has also hosted the last few years of Big Fat Quiz Of The Year.
